Hey! I am Kai!
I am a university student, researcher, and analyst with a passion for solving complex problems through data and clear communication.

About Me
Socrates once said, "The unexamined life is not worth living"—a mantra that continues to guide me as a researcher, analyst, and student. At the core of both my education and work experience is a commitment to continuously learning how to learn. Whether it's the late nights spent writing Python scripts to analyze megabytes of data or the early mornings immersed in current events in the venture capital and tech sectors, I approach each day with curiosity and discipline.
Portfolio
As a student, I’ve held several roles that required strong problem-solving skills, including serving as a Management Consultant, a Product Manager at a tech startup, and a Deal-Flow Manager at an early-stage venture seed fund. These experiences reflect my ability to combine data analysis with business acumen to drive insights and outcomes. Outside of formal roles, I actively pursue personal projects that apply analytical tools and technologies to solve real-world problems through data.
In addition, I am a member of American University’s Lincoln Scholars Program, a 15-credit honors curriculum focused on political philosophy. Through this program, I engage with complex texts from thinkers such as Plato, St. Augustine, and Simone de Beauvoir, honing my ability to interpret and debate challenging ideas. I intend to leverage this experience to communicate analytical insights clearly and persuasively to business stakeholders.
